It may be spring, but Colorado State football is busy practicing and looking to improve for the coming 2017 season.
On Saturday, the Rams went through their first scrimmage of the spring; we break it down. Who went wild (Nick Stevens) and who struggled (the DBs) and what does it mean for the team? Specifically, the offense was sensational while the defense struggled mightily. But, the Rams focused on passing the ball, and with only three cornerbacks able to practice due to injuries and a lack of depth, it’s not time to sound the alarms, yet.
Then, we get comments from Stan Gilliland, the creator of “The Grind” and why he left CSU for Florida. It’s a huge opportunity for Stan and we wish him well as a stalwart representative of Colorado State University. “The Grind” has been superbly done and we’re all hoping this doesn’t mean the end of the program.
All that and more from this edition of your CSU RamsCast.
